This
chapel sits on Fleming Island, between Orange Park and Green Cove Springs. It's
quite small, as it started as a family chapel for the first non-native settlers.
It has an adjoining cemetery in the rear.
I drew one similar to this for my parents for Christmas of 2003, as my parents also live on Fleming Island. It is hanging in their house. They suggested I draw another for display. The church has, unfortunately, replaced its mossy roof. It may be architecturally better, but I think it looks better with the moss. I guess form and function can't always meet happily.
